How Your New Sod is Installed

Private Landscape installs your new lawn using the highest quality sod available and adhering to the highest standards of workmanship. Here's our process.

All of the existing turf, rocks, weeds, sticks and other debris are completely dug out, including the root systems. This debris is hauled away to the landfill and the landfill fees paid in full by Private Landscape, Inc.

The area is then rototilled to a depth of six (6) inches. Rich topsoil and chicken manure are delivered and amended into the existing soil.

The area is graded to move run-off water away from any structures.

Starter Fertilizer is spread at the base of the new sod in order to stimulate quick root growth and establishment.

New sod is delivered and installed into the newly prepared areas.  The newly sodded area is rolled to smooth out any rough places.
